Friday Vs. Cyber Monday: Who's Gonna Win This Year?
Crisp in the air is alarming us that November is here with
all its charm and charisma. Soon there is going to be the beautiful aroma of
freshly cooked food in the air because Thanksgiving is arriving faster than we
could even imagine. While Thanksgiving excites us a lot, there is also a
low-key excitement of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, two mega sale events to
give you the ultimate discount on every freaking item present in the store.
People wait for Cyber Monday Jackets Sale to
grab their favorite jackets at the lowest possible price.
Since 2020 has ruined everything, it has ruined Black Friday
and Cyber Monday too. Unlike other years, this time, black Friday is going to
be online also. Black Friday tradition started a long time ago, and still
today, it is the golden time for the retailers and the customers both. It is
impossible to trace back the origin of Black Friday. Still, every year it
arrives as the most profitable time of the year, an innumerable number of
people pace towards markets and malls to get benefits from these sales. Hence,
the craze of availing of these discounts kept increasing day by day, and people
started hurting each other for products.
During the past years, many people got hurt during these
sales, which was the most devastating thing to witness. Crowds during the black
Friday has even killed many people in that era; online shopping was considered
the most absurd thing until, in 2005, retailers announced the new discounted
eve named Cyber Monday. Originally Cyber Monday was supposed to be the day for
having the discounted price after Black Friday. Cyber Monday falls on the
Monday right after Thanksgiving, and it also offers you huge discounted
deals.
During the first two or three years, people refrained from
buying anything online, though the discounts lured them eventually. It has been
in the tradition for years to have discounts on these two days and enjoy the
shopping until 2020 arrived! Black Friday was first predicted to be canceled as
the crowds were never going to follow the standard operating procedures, and
the virus can take a dangerous turn from there. However, the cancellation of
this day could lead the retailers towards severe losses, and a huge part of economic
profit could have been ended.
To resist these losses, merchants have decided to change the
physical deals into the virtual one. This is still going to cost them a lot,
according to the predictions, the profit is not going to be the same as the
previous years. They decided to overcome this whole situation by announcing
discounts beforehand, even before Thanksgiving, so more people can get their
desired products. This year the tech department is going to give huge
discounts.
Gaming appliances, Personal Computers, Mobiles, HD TVs, and
many more products related to tech will have huge discounted deals in them.
Having an online Black Friday is all cool until it hit you that it will ruin
another sale eve, named Cyber Monday. Cyber Monday dramatically increased the
profits after black Friday, as people used to be desperate about the things
they were not able to buy during the Black Friday sale. This Cyber Monday sale
lasts for a 24-hour duration only, which causes tension and makes people buy
more stuff in less time.
According to the sources, Cyber Monday is not going to be
the spark as in previous years. The retailers have decided to drag Black Friday
sales till Monday; hence the great Cyber Monday will be fused into Black
Friday, and those sales are just going to make up a little bit for everyone.
The whole fun part is ruined since there is no huge profit or spark expected,
even from the Cyber Monday Jacket Deals, so
retailers have decided to change their policies.
Started from the elevation of free-shipping, some sellers have ended the shipping procedures. They have started a new buying online process and receive your package from the outlet policy, well this is going to give you the huge benefits in terms of safety procedures. Also, it will avoid large gatherings. Inclusively, Black Friday is going to eat up Cyber Monday.
I live in Miami — heat, humidity, beach shorts everywhere. Wore my Peaky blinders outfit — lightweight shirt, slim trousers, and The Falcon Jacket — to a rooftop bar. Bartender said, “You’re either lost or legendary.” I ordered whiskey. The Falcon Jacket whispered, “Legendary.”
